At Dance Etc. we have many different programs and types of classes, so it only makes sense that we have quite a few teachers! We only hire the best, most qualified teachers and specialists who are also kind, caring, passionate and dedicated.
Director of Tumbling

Brittney Fey Claybourn is the Director of School Age Tumbling for Dance Etc. She graduated from Wilmington College with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics in 2010. She is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University nursing program (December 2013). A Crossfit competitor, she is a gymnast with 12 years of training, ending up at level 10 (the highest level). She trained at American Eagle Gymnastics and Flip-N-Twist Gymnastics. During optional levels, she made the Ohio team. She coaches other sports which include soccer, cross country, track and cheerleading. She is CPR certified.

Director of Youth Dance & Tumbling

Holly Sargent Reece is the Director of Youth Dance & Tumbling for Dance Etc. Holly is a graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Speech Communication and a minor in Family Relationships. She is the mother of two small children, who both take dance and tumbling classes at the studio. Holly has been dancing and cheerleading since she was 3 years old. Throughout her years as a student she studied Acro, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, and Musical Theater. Holly has been teaching dance and tumbling since 2007. Her group dances, solos, and duets have won regional competitions, national competitions, high point awards, titles, choreography awards, and best costume awards. Her dances consistently place in the Top Ten Overall awards. Holly truly loves working with her students and brings that passion to the classroom.

Director of Dance

Carissa Palazzolo is the Director of Dance for Dance Etc. She started dancing at Dance Etc. when she was three and hasn't stopped dancing since! Carissa has eight years of competitive dance experience and three years of college dance team experience. Through her time dancing, Carissa has studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, acro, lyrical, contemporary, modern, and musical theater. Since starting at Dance Etc. as a teacher in 2016, Carissa graduated from Mount St. Joseph University with a degree in Fine Arts and Psychology. She loves teaching and is excited to continue making the classroom a fun and safe space to learn new things.

Director of Competition Teams

Julie Marks is the Director of Competition Teams for Dance Etc. She began dancing and tumbling at age 4 at Dance Etc. and has a passion for performing. She began dancing and tumbling at age 4 at Dance Etc. and has a passion for performing. She danced competitively at Dance Etc. for 13 years performing regionally and nationally on Acro, Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Open, Production, and Tap teams. She graduated in 2017 from Northern Kentucky University with a degree in Public Relations and Communications. Julie's favorite styles of dance are Musical Theater and Hip Hop, but she teaches all styles. Her choreography has earned many 'Most Entertaining' and special awards and placed in the Top 5 at competitions both regionally and nationally. Julie's choreography has also earned her nominations to the Industry Dance Awards in Los Angeles, CA for "Best Musical Theatre" (2017 "Bathing Beauties" & 2023 "Family Business").
