At Dance Etc. we have many different programs and types of classes, so it only makes sense that we have quite a few teachers! We only hire the best, most qualified teachers and specialists who are also kind, caring, passionate and dedicated!
Founder & Artistic Director

![]() Anne Kramer is the Founder and Artistic Director of Dance Etc. She has more than 30 years of teaching experience. She was a scholarship student with Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, and still dances professionally. Anne has received numerous choreography and teacher awards at both regional and national levels. She has been a dance and talent judge for dance competitions. She was a contributor to Dance Teacher Magazine on several occasions. She has been a guest instructor and choreographer for the School of Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati. Her dance experience includes ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, breakdancing, belly dancing, salsa, swing dance and more. Prior to Dance Etc., Anne was a personal trainer, fitness instructor, health club program director, aerobics competitor and workshop presenter. Email Anne Kramer

![]() Corey Hodge is the Director of School Age Tumbling for Dance Etc. Corey has a degree in Management and Leadership from Miami University. He also is a DE alumni! He started tumbling at DE when he was nine years old and was on our competition teams for about eight years. Corey was on hip hop, acro, production and jazz teams. He can still do many of the tumbling and dance skills he learned here at DE as a kid! Corey has a passion for teaching all ages, from tumble bears to advanced tumbling! ![]() Holly Sargent Reece is the Director of Youth Tumbling for Dance Etc. She is a graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Speech Communication and a minor in Family Relationships. Holly has been dancing and cheerleading since she was 3 years old. Throughout her years as a student she studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, and Musical Theater. She was a competitive dancer for over 10 years, and has won both regional and national competitions. Holly has been teaching dance and tumbling since 2007. ![]() Melissa Wood is the Director of Dance for Dance Etc. Known to many in town by her maiden name, Misse Allen, she has had a fun career. Starting young, she starred in a television series produced by Jack Rouse called “Pumpkin Creek” at the age of 12 and the same year danced as Clara in Cincinnati Ballet’s production of Nutcracker. She soon joined the company at the young age of 16 and rose to the rank of Soloist. After 8 years of dancing with CBC, she danced 2 years with Tulsa Ballet before joining The National Broadway tour of The Phantom of the Opera. For almost 10 years, she toured the US and Canada playing the role of Paris Opera Ballerina and understudying the lead role of Meg. ![]() Kelly Lorenz is the Director of Youth Dance for Dance Etc. Kelly has been with Dance Etc. since 2009 and just loves it! She received her BFA in Theatre from Northern Kentucky University and has been dancing her entire life. Kelly has performed with several theatre groups in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky including Cincinnati Children's Theater at the Taft Theater, Downtown Theatre Classics at the Aronoff Center, Monmouth Theatre and The Commonwealth Dinner Theatre. ![]() Julie Marks is the Director of Competition Teams for Dance Etc. She began dancing and tumbling at age 4 at Dance Etc. and has a passion for being on stage. She danced competitively at Dance Etc. for 13 years performing on Acro, Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater and Tap teams. She has competed at Regional and National Dance Competitions in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, South Carolina and Florida. She graduated in 2017 from Northern Kentucky University with a degree in Public Relations and Communications. Julie's favorite types of dance are Musical Theater and Hip Hop. Routines she has choreographed have earned many 'Most Entertaining' and special awards and placed in the Top 5 at competitions both regionally and nationally including 4 National Champions at Applause Talent Nationals in 2017. Julie's choreography was also nominated for a 2017 Industry Dance Award for her Musical Theatre routine 'Bathing Beauties'. Email Julie Marks
