b-boys - BREAKDANCING & tumbling
Ages 7 and up
B-Boy refers to a style of hip-hop that first appeared in the 1970s. Sometimes known as b-boying or breaking, this style involves coordination, style, flexibility, and rhythm. It is one of the most improvisational dance styles, allowing for each dancer to customize his or her routine with athleticism and imagination. Dancers create moves that borrow from gymnastics, martial arts and other forms of dance. Breakdancers will also learn cartwheels, roundoffs & so much more. Great for overall strength and coordination! |
