Anna Swecker earned her degree in Psychology from Marshall University. She is a mother of two and has been a part of the Dance Etc. family since 2012, when her daughter started in the Tumblin' Tots class. Present day, she considers herself a “professional dance mom” as her daughter competes in a variety of dance styles on our Competition Teams. Anna has always had a passion for dance and performance, as she was a majorette and heavily involved in theater growing up.  She is an active team mom and a former Girl Scout leader. She began teaching at DE in 2022 and can mostly be found working with our youngest students in Studio C and the Tumblebears room. She especially loves teaching Ballet and Tap while providing a positive environment in the classroom and making learning fun! Outside of dance, Anna loves to read, spend time with her family, and snuggle her two French Bulldogs!
