Ballet Aerobics
our new class incorporates the basics of ballet with some easy dance steps and some relaxing stretches. Includes barre work, across the floor steps, and more. This one is for total beginners!
Improve your posture, balance, flexibility and feel graceful at the same time!
What to wear: Comfortable clothing. Wear either ballet shoes or something you can spin in (no athletic sneakers).
Core Conditioning
our new class incorporates exercises for your abdominal muscles, arms, legs and more. Mat work, yoga poses, balance work, and pilates exercises are included. No experience necessary.
What to wear: Comfortable clothing and bare feet. Please bring a mat and towel.
Adult Tap
Looking for something fun to do? Need the exercise? Want to keep your mind sharp while working on coordination? How about adult tap! We have two levels to choose from: Beginner and Intermediate.
- Beginner—Starts with the very basics. 45-60 minutes.
- Intermediate/Advanced—Working on time steps, buffalo, drawbacks, etc. 60 minutes.
What to wear: Comfortable clothing. Black flat heeled tap shoes are preferred.
Adult Cardio Dance (Formerly Adult Hip-Hop)
Parents can dance, too... If you're looking for a great workout that involves dance, try this fun class, geared toward adults who just want to move, groove, and dance while burning calories! Music will include different styles of hip-hop, street jazz and party songs. Curtains will cover the viewing windows for maximum privacy. 45-60 minutes.
What to wear: Comfortable clothing and CLEAN athletic shoes.
Yoga
Are you looking for a workout program that's:

Then yoga is for you! We also have mother/daughter yoga, as well as yoga for kids. Children today are under a lot of stress. Homework, pressure to compete with other children, endless after-school activities, over-scheduling -- it all adds up. And just like their parents, kids today are turning to Yoga to help them relax.
Yoga helps kids develop better body awareness, self-control, flexibility and coordination. These skills can be carried beyond class and into their daily routines. It also been shown to help the hyperactive and attention-deficit child. These children crave movement and sensory/motor stimulus. Yoga helps channel these impulses in a positive way.
All classes are 60 minutes.
What to wear: Comfortable clothing; bring a yoga mat and a towel.
Ballroom
Whether you want to meet people, get in shape, are gearing up for a wedding or just think it might
be fun, you’ll find a lot of value in ballroom dancing. Here are some of the benefits of Ballroom Dancing:
- Increases balance, poise, and offers an opportunity to shake off stress.
- Dancing can be a fun way to lose weight and get into shape!
- You'll meet fun active people and have lots of opportunities to make new friends.
- You'll gain confidence in social situations. You won't feel left out at weddings and parties where dancing is part of the fun.
- If your partner is your spouse or longtime friend, you'll find that dancing adds another dimension to your relationship that is easy to overlook in the day-to-day details.
- Dancing is romantic! It brings a whole new level of respect for your partner and makes you see them in a different light.
We will be offering a variety of classes: Waltz, foxtrot, rhumba, salsa, swing, etc. Don’t know what all those dances are? Don’t worry! We’ll teach you.
We can also choreograph a routine for you and your fiancée’ for your wedding!
No partners required! 60 minutes. Classes may run in 6-week sessions.
What to wear: Comfortable clothing and smooth bottom shoes that allow for spinning (not athletic shoes). |
