Our quality instructors have many years of coaching experience and truly care
for their students. All tumbling coaches are safety certified. We have a high
teacher-to-student ratio in all our classes.
DIRECTORS
Anne Kramer
Owner, Artistic Director
Anne is the founder of Dance Etc. She was a full scholarship student with Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, and danced professionally in a variety of theater productions. Anne has received numerous choreography and teacher awards at both regional and national
levels, including "Teacher of the Year" from Rainbow Connection in 2003, "Top Choreographer" from StarQuest International in 2003, "Best Choreography" from Cathy Roe Productions in 2006, the "Rising Star Award" from Rising Star Productions in 2006, and "Teacher of the Year" from Kids Artistic Revue in 2007 and 2011. In 1998
she received the Founders Gold Medal for her achievement of the arts in her community, and in 2007 was voted for Small Business of the Year. She has been a dance and talent judge for beauty pageants as well as Kids Artistic Revue. She helped write an article for Dance Teacher Magazine on several occasions. She has been a guest instructor at the School of Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati.
She dances professionally as a founding member of Show Ballet Castalia, a Cincinnati-based company providing dance entertainment for parties, holidays, and special events. Her dance experience includes ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, breakdancing, belly dancing, salsa, swing dance and more. Prior to Dance Etc., Anne was a personal trainer, aerobics
instructor, health club program director, aerobics competitor and workshop presenter.

Catherine Dresbach
Director of Competition Teams -
Catherine received a BFA in dance from Ohio University.
She began her dance training in Grove City, PA and majored in dance at Ohio University.
Growing up she had a strong competition background, and holds a BFA with honors in dance, choreography, and dance education.
Catherine has been with Dance Etc. for eight years and has experience in teaching all ages in ballet, tap, jazz, modern,
hip-hop, and acro. Her competition teams consistently place in the top 5 at regional and national competitions.
She is a member of Dance Masters of America where she is certified in Acrobatics and Jazz.
She holds a National Safety Certification through USA Gymnastics.
She loves dogs, owning many of her own and volunteering at an animal shelter. "I believe a teacher should create a very fun
and open atmosphere while presenting a challenge to her students."

Amy Eggemeyer
Director of Dance (Ages 7 & Over) - Amy has a bachelors degree in business and an elementary teaching certification. She has been dancing for over 30 years and teaching dance for over 20 years. She recently moved to Ohio from Illinois with her husband and 2 boys, Cade (8) and Blake (11). Besides dancing, Amy performed on a competitive cheerleading squad in high school and coached Jr. High cheerleading in Illinois. She has also taught 1st grade school and home tutored for over 8 years. Amy has over 20 years experience teaching jazz, tap, ballet, tumbling and planning recitals. She has taken several dance teams to competitions in the Midwest (Chicago, St. Louis, etc.), earning many 1st place finishes. “I believe that dance (recreational or competitive), is truly an art that involves and develops discipline, confidence, physical fitness, and most of all, fun and friendships!”

Kelly Lorenz
Director of Dance, Youth Program (Ages 6 & Under) - Kelly has studied ballet and tap since she was three years old. Kelly received her BFA in Theatre,
with an emphasis in Acting and Directing from Northern Kentucky University. She has performed with The Cincinnati
Children’s Theatre, Commonwealth Dinner Theatre and Downtown Theater Classics. Kelly has been teaching Ballet, Jazz and
Tap for several years at different studios and day care centers around Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati. When not teaching,
Kelly stays busy with her four children Benjamin, Eylie, Nicholas and Natalie.

Alex Millette
Director of Tumbling - Alex is currently attending the University of Cincinnati College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services to obtain a degree in Secondary Education Language Arts. He has studied Shaolin Kung Fu and tumbling under Master Joe Harmon for 6 years, and has taught for three of those years. He has obtained his second degree black belt, and is currently working towards his third degree. He has competed in many martial arts tournaments and performed for the Cincinnati Fine Arts Festival, and many other events for several years.
He holds a National Safety Certification through USA Gymnastics. Alex is certified in CPR from the Red Cross and the American Heart Association.

Kayla Vertner
Assistant Director of Tumbling, Birthday Party Coordinator - Currently attending Cincinnati State Technical College studying medical engineering, Kayla has been a member of the Dance Etc. family since age 5. She started with basic tumbling, then cheerleading, then dance. She cheered for the Milford Football Club, Milford Jr. High
and then, Dance Etc.’s "Outlaw All-Stars" which took National Champions at the 2005 competition in Chicago.
She also participated in Hip Hop, Lyrical and Jazz under Ms. Anne’s direction, joining competition teams in 2007.
During the summers, Kayla works for Miami Township Recreational Department directing camps, including D.A.R.E camps,
kindergarten safety camps, and more. She loves teaching, and has experience working with children from ages 3 to teen.
She holds a National Safety Certification through
USA Gymnastics. “I try and work with my students to teach them about themselves and new,
fun ways to make friends. I love children and cannot wait until I see them in class!”

Megan Blow
Director of Youth Tumbling - Megan is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a Master’s Degree in Deaf Education.
A native of Wheeling, WV, Megan has a combined 22 years of experience in cheer, dance, and gymnastics.
Beginning at the age of 5, Megan participated in numerous dance shows, gymnastics meets, and cheerleading competitions.
During high school, she was on a state championship cheerleading squad, participated in a variety of cheerleading camps for all ages and abilities,
and received training in tumbling from three experienced coaches who own gyms in Wheeling, WV, Bridgeport, OH, and Wellsburg, WV.
While Megan was pursuing her undergraduate degree at West Virginia University, she continued to help her hometown elementary and middle
school squads with competition routines, focusing on cheer, dance, tumbling, and building. She holds a National Safety Certification through
USA Gymnastics. Megan loves sharing her passion for cheerleading, dance, and gymnastics with the students at Dance Etc.

SENIOR STAFF
Christy Smith is a graduate from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music
with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Electronic Media. She is attended Xavier University to pursue her Masters of Education and
teaching license. She has been dancing and tumbling since the age of 6. Throughout her years as a student she studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz,
Lyrical, Musical Theater, and Hip Hop. Her dancing talents led her to become a member of the competition team of the studio she attended.
She competed in competitions around the country and attended workshops including LA Dance Force, Access Broadway, and Dance Masters of America.
She has been teaching dance and tumbling for over 7 years and is a member of Dance Masters of America where she is certified in Acrobatics and Ballet.
She holds a National Safety Certification through USA Gymnastics.
Christy is looking forward to sharing her love of dance and tumbling with the students
at Dance Etc.

A native of St. Petersburg, Russia, Sergey Pakharev trained at the Academy of Russian Ballet and The School of the Kirov Ballet.
Upon graduation, he danced as a Soloist at the Maryinsky Theater. He has had an exciting career, receiving diplomas at both the International Ballet Competition
of Rudolf Nureyev in Budapest, Hungary and the International Ballet Competition of Maya Plisetskaya in St. Petersburg, Russia. Since
coming to the United States, Mr. Pakharev danced as a Soloist with the Fort Worth/Dallas Ballet. Mr. Pakharev was with Cincinnati Ballet
in 2003-2008 and has performed lead roles in Coppelia, Swan Lake, Balanchine's Who Cares, and Prodigal Son and the Tchaikovsky pas de deux.
Sergey danced with the Rebecca Davis Dance Company in Philadelphia and continues guest performing for Ballet Tech of Ohio, Lafeyette Ballet Theatre, Miami Valley Dance Company, Northern Cincinnati Youth Ballet (NCYB) and more.
He is also a founding member of Show Ballet Castalia, a Cincinnati-based company providing dance entertainment for parties, holidays, and special events.
Ricky Mesina is a graduate of Ball State University where he received a Bachelors Degree in Advertising. Ricky has been dancing since he
could walk, and learned how to dance by imitating Michael Jackson videos and performances. Rickys style of dance is influenced by freestyle movements
and musicality. During college he was a member of a hip-hop dance team called "Outlet", which provided him with the opportunity to perform and compete in many
dance competitions. After graduating from college, he moved to Cincinnati and continued his passion for dance by teaching hip-hop workshops and classes at numerous
studios in the area. Ricky is constantly learning and improving his craft by participating in dance conventions and staying up to date on the latest moves and trends.
He is excited for the opportunity to spread his love for dance, music and creativity to Dance Etc.

Olivia Policicchiois a native of Toronto, Canada however she considers Cincinnati, Ohio her home. Olivia has been training for 22 years and teaching for 8 years. Most recently, she performed with Cathy Rigby in Peter Pan. Her favorite roles include Victoria in Cats, Tiger Lily in Peter Pan, Consuela in West Side Story and Tammy in Hairspray. She’s also performed with Music Theatre Wichita in White Christmas and Damn Yankees. She received her BPA in Dance Performance from Oklahoma City University where she was a 4 year member of the American Spirit Dance Company and touring to Taipei, Taiwan. Other credits include: Graveyard Shift and Dick Foster's Spellbound at Paramount's King's Island and the Humanly Weathering of Love with the Dare to Be Soul Dance Co. under the direction of Destini Rogers of So You Think You Can Dance. Olivia teaches, choreographs and judges all over the country. She hopes to instill the love of dance in all her students through her passion for the art of choreography.

Jay Goodlett is the Associate Artistic Director for The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati.
He attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati for 9 years, studied at the School of American Ballet
for several seasons, then joined The Cincinnati Ballet Company in 1992. Mr. Goodlett has
performed in many Cincinnati Ballet productions including The Nutcracker, Romeo
and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Carmina Burana, Giselle, Blue until
June, The Four Temperaments, and Fingerprints, among others. As a
choreographer, Mr. Goodlett made his professional debut collaborating with
Victoria Morgan on Graceland in March 2002. In April 2005, his work Sing It
Franklin had its world premiere at Beyond Ballet. Mr. Goodlett was invited by
Opera Theatre of St. Louis to choreograph two operas in their 2005 season,
Romeo and Juliet and Rigoletto. When he is not involved with dance, he enjoys
spending time with his wife Jenny Leinberger Goodlett (former CB Dancer) and
his children, Megan, Nathan, and Mia.
Brittany Fey
graduated from Wilmington College with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in biology, chemistry and mathematics. She is a gymnast with 11 years of training, ending up at level 10 (the highest level). She trained at American Eagle Gymnastics and Flip-N-Twist Gymnastic. During optional levels, she made the Ohio team. She is eager to teach tumbling at Dance Etc.!

Katie Farry is a native of Columbus, Ohio and has been dancing for 22 years and teaching for 9 years. She attended Akron University as a
dance and education major and transferred to Ohio State where she graduated with a degree in early childhood development and a minor dance in 2007.
Katie is a senior member of Cincinnati's Contemporary Dance Company, Exhale Dance Tribe and is currently training under Missy Lay-Zimmer and Andrew Hubbard
at Planet Dance. Katie has been teaching and choreographing around the tri-state area and choreographed her first national commercial for Aldi foods
in 2007. Katie's love for teaching and choreographing continues to grow. Katie is a dance adjudicator for Showcase America Unlimited and Creative Dance Productions.
In 2009 Katie danced for Bootsy Collins with Exhale Dance Tribe and is excited to join the Dance Etc. faculty this year.
Kali Sanders is trained in competition dance for 15 years in Columbus, Ohio. She is trained in Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Ballet and Lyrical.
Currently going to school in Cincinnati earning a degree in Elementary Education. Has attended Showstoppers Nationals for several years, and in 2006 and 2008
her group numbers were picked as the Top 6 for the finals in the small group category. Kali has had the opportunity to travel to Europe twice to perform
as a part of Tanzsommer, to represent the United States in dance. She has had the pleasure of working closely with choreographers Joey and Jackie Dowling,
Greg Russell and Joe Lanteri executive director of New York City Dance Alliance. She has also attended conventions since the age of nine being influenced
by Mandy Moore and Travis Wall from So You Think You Can Dance. “Dance has always been a part of my life, and I am so happy to share
my passion with the students that I teach.”
Katherine Pixley
began dancing at the age of 5 after her mother found her attempting to make a balance beam from the dining room chairs. From that point on she followed her innate passion for dance by participating in multiple summer programs including the Taylor Project at Jacob’s Pillow in Massachusetts when she was 17 years old. Katherine received a BFA in Dance Performance from Wright State University. While enrolled she was a member of WSU’s Dance Ensemble as well as Dayton Ballet II (DBII). As a member of DBII she had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Dermot Burke and Septime Webre as well as perform in The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Romeo and Juliet. Katherine also has earned an MA in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Antioch University New England with the intent to become a counselor to children and their families. Katherine is delighted to be on staff at Dance Etc.
Jodi Thodesen
has been involved with youth from the ages of 2-17 for 16 years with her church and through working in the Milford School District. Before that, she and her husband were foster parents.
“I love watching children grow and learn under the positive influences placed in their lives”. Her children have danced at Dance Etc. for the last nine years and have seen how much they've
grown as dancers – both in their dancing technique and being physically fit. She loves teaching and working with children, and watching them mature both physically and socially.
Elizabeth Johnson is a senior at Milford High School. She started taking tumbling classes at Dance Etc when she was 7. When she was 7 and 8 years old, she was a cheerleader for Milford Youth Football.
She started competition teams at the age of 9, starting with acro/tumbling. In the years to follow, she competed on acro, ballet,
jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical teams. She is currently on The Company, a highly trained group of only 7 dancers who compete together in
ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, etc. She started dancing with Milford High School Dance team her junior year.
She is currently on Milford’s High School dance team again this year. Elizabeth loves to teach children her love for gymnastics and dance. She plans on attending the University of Cincinnati for a degree in Education.
Matt Santeler is a Chicago native and a recent graduate of Indiana University Bloomington where he studied Mathematics. A lifelong gymnast, Matt participated on the Men’s Varsity Gymnastics team at Mundelein High School in Illinois, competing as Team Captain and Co-Captain throughout. He was also a member of The Mundelein Sound, the high school show choir - placing at National Competitions in New York, Florida, and Tennessee. He is very excited to get back to his gymnast roots and share his passion with the students at Dance Etc.!
Megan Keith Megan Keith has been cheering at the age of 9. Megan began taking classes at Dance Etc. in hip-hop, gymnastics, and cheerleading. She was a part of the Cheer Etc. Outlaws, and while there competed in Atlanta, Chicago, and Indiana. Megan also cheered with CIA of Cincinnati and Midwest Cheer Elite. She also danced competitively for the Southern Ohio Rebels. Megan was captain of the varsity cheer squad for Goshen High School during her Junior and Senior years. She was the choreographer for her high school team. Megan has traveled to Hawaii and taken classes from "Americas Best Dance Crew" Hype 5-0, and competed in dance competitions on the islands.
Alexa Helwig grew up at Dance Etc. She began at the age of 7, and competed both regionally and nationally in Acro, Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet and Lyrical.
She was hired as a a professional dancer for Kings Island in the stage shows, “Don’t Stop The Music” and “Flashback Totally 80’s.”
She attends University of Cincinnati and is a member of The UC Varsity Dance Team. She is a member of Show Ballet Castalia, a Cincinnati-based dance performance company. Alexa loves working with young kids and enjoys teaching them as they learn to dance and tumble.
Holly Sargent is a graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Speech Communication and a minor in Family Relationships. She has been dancing and cheerleading since she was 3 years old. Throughout her years as a student she studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, and Musical Theater. She was a competitive dancer for over 10 years, and has won both regional and national competitions. During her time in college she was a varsity cheerleader and traveled around the country instructing cheer leading clinics. Holly truly loves working with her students and brings that passion to the classroom.
Monica Hannan has been dancing since the young age of 3. Though ballet and contemporary are her favorites, she is also trained in hip-hop, tap, jazz, modern, pointe, musical theater, and belly dancing. Throughout grade school and high school she was a
competitive dancer at Dance Etc. The company travelled to cities all over the country, including Las Vegas and Chicago, to compete at regional and national dance competitions. The summer
before her senior year she was hired as a full time dancer in Kings Island’s “Flashback Totally 80s” and “Don’t Stop the Music”. Her senior year she became dance captain of her high school’s show choir.
Monica now helps with choreography for Loveland High School and Loveland Middle School show choirs. Monica is a dance major at Northern Kentucky University and is a member of NKU’s Dance Troupe,
which travels around the Tri-State performing pieces they have choreographed. She is a member of Show Ballet Castalia, a Cincinnati-based dance performance company.
She has always loved to teach dance and watch young dancers grow and thrive in the art. She hopes to be able to share her love of dance to all of her students.
Kelsey Krenwinkel has danced at Dance Etc. since the age of 3. She joined competition teams in first grade and continues to compete.
She has studied many types of dance including ballet, lyrical, jazz, tap, and pointe.
When she was 12, she was selected to participate in a ballet summer intensive program with American Ballet Theatre.
As a soloist, Kelsey won many top awards at competition, and was selected as a "KAR Kid" by Kids Artistic Revue dance competition. She is currently a student
at Milford High School and has danced on the varsity dance team since her freshman year.
Veronica Day
- Former Director of Dance at Dance Etc. Veronica is a graduate of Ball State University, majoring in dance.
She started dancing at the age of 5, and joined competition teams at the age of
9. Her solos, duets and groups regularly scored in the top 5 at competitions,
including the top scoring duet at Starbound in 2002, and the top scoring group
at Rainbow Nationals in Branson in 2003. She took private dance classes from
"Elec" (STOMP tap dancer), and took a tap workshop in NYC studying with Gil
Stroming, Mike Minery, and Rojelio Douglas. She performed in an off-Broadway
tap show called "Break the Floor." She performed with the Cincinnati Ballet
Company in The Nutcracker for two years. Currently she is a member of "Cats Paying Dues" in NYC,
a full-time tap dance company described as "swiftly moving" and "stylish" by the Financial Times.
She also dances with "MJXpressions," a Michael Jackson tribute act
She also is a seamstress and loves
to design and create dance costumes. She is also experienced in sign language (10
years), and is CPR certified.
Daryl Bjoza is the Co-Director of School of Creative and Performing Arts Dance Ensemble (SCPA). His training includes San Francisco Ballet School, San Diego State University, Western State College of Colorado, and many others. His professional
experience includes 9 years as a soloist in the Cincinnati Ballet Company, as well as work with the San Francisco Ballet, Tulsa Ballet, Cleveland Ballet, Theatre-Ballet Canadians, Feld Ballet (NYC), Ballet de Santiago (Chile), Lines Contemporary Dance Company (San Francisco), Ballet Hawaii and others.
He is known for his excellent and creative choreography. "My choreography allows the youth and professionals I work with to move in a variety of styles, with depth of character, utilizing strong technical training.
This is where they get their varied experience of movement skills, enhancing their marketability not jut as ballet dancers but as musical theatre dancers, modern dance movers, jazz movers and ethnic character dancers."
Jessica Harris, a member of Exhale Dance Tribe in Cincinnati, is originally from Neptune, NJ. For 22 years, she trained in all styles of dance. During her younger years, Jessica competed and won numerous scholarships and awards at conventions. She was a 4-year member and captain of the nationally ranked Rutgers Dance Team. After graduating college with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Media Studies, Jessica turned her attention to choreography. She worked with dance studios and H.S. dance teams in NJ and Ohio. She continues to receive awards and accolades for her choreography on the regional & national level, and is excited to share her enthusiasm and love for dance with Dance Etc.
Kristi Capps, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Kristi began dancing at the age of nine. Her ballet training includes the School of American Ballet, Harid Conservatory and North Carolina School of the Arts. While at NCSA, she was chosen to study and perform with the Hungarian State Ballet School in Budapest, Hungary. Upon graduation, Kristi was a member of Atlanta Ballet for three seasons. She joined Cincinnati Ballet in 1996. Rising quickly through the ranks, Ms. Capps delighted audiences in many lead roles including Swanhilda in Coppélia, Kitri in Don Quixote, Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Giselle in Giselle, Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, and Diamond pas de deux in George Balanchine's Jewels. In 2002, Kristi danced the role of The Sleepwalker in the recreation of George Balanchine's La Sonnambula under the direction of Frederic Franklin CBE, for the Balanchine Trust Archives. As a guest artist, she has performed with many ballet companies and galas such as
the International Ballet Festival of Miami, Florida, Stars of American Ballet in Spain and the International Dance Festival in Vail, Colorado. Ms. Capps also danced as a principal with the Chautauqua Ballet Company in New York under the direction of Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux. Locally, Kristi has been featured with the Cincinnati Pops and the Cincinnati Opera, and she'll also perform this September in New York City at Columbia University's Miller Theater in Iannis Xenakis' monumental Oresteia, under the direction of choreographer Luca Veggetti.
Kelly Yankle began studying ballet at the School of Canton Ballet at the age of ten. Ms. Yankle has received scholarships to Pacific Northwest Ballet, Chautauqua Institution, where she spent three summers, and two at the School of American Ballet and Central Youth Ballet. Ms. Yankle also participated in a professional workshop with Alonzo King in the summer of 2006. Recently she won first place at the Regional Society of Arts and Letters competition and fifth place at the National Competition in Jacksonville, Florida. She was chosen by Jiang Qi to be the featured American performer in the Hopestar performance tour in Beijing, China in 2004. Ms. Yankle is currently on a scholarship majoring in ballet with a minor in Spanish at the College-Conservatory Music at the University of Cincinnati. She has performed many featured roles.
Viky Andreatta Smith, originally from South Africa, has R.A.D. and Cecchetti ballet training (elementary through advanced, with honors). The studied with the Boca Ballet in Florida on scholarship, with the Cecchetti Winter School in South America on scholarship, and in South America as well as London with the R.A.D. Summer Workshops. A retired professional dancer, Viky jas performed professionally in South Africa, Swaziland, and USA, in “Romeo and Juliet” (Boca Ballet Theater), “The Promise” and “The Nutcracker” (International Ballet Co.), “Cinderella” (S. Broward Ballet Co.), “Giselle” (South African Ballet Co.), and others.
She teaches ballet, jazz and lyrical full-time in South Florida at the Dancers Gallery and Dance Academy of North Lauderdale, Florida. She also taught full-time for one year at Dance Etc., working with competition teams as well as recreational classes, and returning once a year as a guest instructor.
Kelli Barton attends the University of Cincinnati and is studying pre-physical therapy. She is a member of U.C.'s Varsity
Dance Team, being the only Freshman to be accepted onto the Varsity team. The team won the 2009 National Hip-Hop Championships, and in addition, her team represented the United States to win the first world dance team
competition. Kelli has been dancing since she was four years old. She competed at Dance Etc. for 7 years and won many regional and national competitions.
She is trained and has competed in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip-hop, and partnering. In 2007, Kelli won Top Elite Solo at KAR, Top Senior Solo at Showstoppers, Top Senior Solo at Rainbow Connection,
and Top Elite Duet at Nationals in Chicago, which was also featured on the national video. Also, she was a finalist and scholarship winner in the Cincinnati Arts Association's Overture Awards.

Tori Patrice has been training in dance since she was 3 years old and
has taught/assisted at Dance Etc. for
10
years. She is currently attending Point Park University in Pittsburg, majoring in jazz dance.
Point Park's undergraduate dance program has been rated among the best in the United States.
She grew up at Dance Etc., competing solos, duets and in groups in ballet,
lyrical, tap, jazz, hip-hop, pointe, modern and adagio (partnering/lifts).
She has attended national competitions in
Chicago, Branson, Myrtle Beach, Panama City, and Las Vegas. She
has trained with instructors from the Cincinnati Ballet Company, Don Mirault,
Becky Erhart of the Washington DC Ballet, and other professional dancers,
including extensive partnering work. She choreographed a musical program for
the 5th and 6th graders at Charles L. Seipelt Elementary School in Milford. She
was chosen as "Belle" for Milford High School's production of "Beauty and The Best."
She has also choreographed and taught hip-hop numbers for bridal shows for
Skeffington's Formalwear. She has also performed at nursing homes, churches and
other community events. The first year she was eligible, she was chosen to be
on Show Choir (a singing/dancing performing group) at Milford High School.
Anthony Krutzkamp is a native of Alexandria, Kentucky, and is a
principal dancer with the Cincinnati Ballet for his
12
th season. Since joining the Company in 2001 as a new dancer, he has been
promoted every season. Mr. Krutzkamp is a proud graduate of The Virginia School
of the Arts where he studied on full scholarship under the direction of Petrus
Bosman and David Keener. He furthered his training during summers at Houston
Ballet and Boston Ballet. Before coming to Cincinnati Ballet, Mr. Krutzkamp
danced with Kansas City Ballet for one season. During that season, he was an
intricate part of the reconstruction of Balanchine's Renard, restaged by Todd
Bolender , as The Cat. His favorite roles at Cincinnati Ballet include Romeo in
Romeo and Juliet, Oberon in A Midsummer Night's Dream, the Tchaikovsky pas de
deux, The God in Léonide Massine's Seventh Symphony, the pas de deux in
Balanchine's Concerto Barocco, and the Prince in Cinderella. He has also
performed in contemporary works, including Adam Hougland's Beyond, and Trey
McIntyre's Blue until June and Chasing Squirrel.
Jill Marlow - Member of the Cincinnati Ballet Company. Born in Rochester, New York, Jill Marlow trained at Draper Studio of Dance under Timothy Draper.
She continued her dance education at American Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensive and Boston Ballet’s Summer Dance Program.
Ms. Marlow received a scholarship to attend Indiana University ’s Ballet Department, where she was coached by the renowned
ballerina, Violette Verdy. Ms. Marlow most recently was a corps de ballet member with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre during
their 2003-2004 season. She has performed soloist roles, including Summer Fairy in Victoria Morgan’s Cinderella, Hermia in Balanchine’s
A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Moyna in Giselle, Big Swans in Swan Lake and featured roles in Matjash Mrozewski’s Straight Life,
Lynne Taylor-Corbett’s Ballad of You and Me, and Trey McIntyre’s Chasing Squirrel.
Becky Reid has been an instructor at Dance Etc. since 1996.
She began her dance training in St. Louis where she was a junior member of the St. Louis Ballet, and performed with the
St. Louis Municipal Opera. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance at Stephens College. After graduation, she
performed with Dance Miami and toured with the Bob Hope Show. Becky owned and directed a dance studio in St. Louis for
over a decade, offering classes and competition teams in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, acrobatics and more. Upon moving to Ohio,
Becky changed her career focus from dance education to academic education, and is currently the Principal of Risen Christ Lutheran
School in Springfield, Ohio. She resides with her husband and three daughters.
Heather Walter, MS, A.T.C., is our injury prevention specialist. She grew up in Northern VA, moving to Cincinnati
in January 2008. She draws her dance knowledge from personal experience. She has danced for 21 years and for a brief time was
a dance major at Towson University until an injury caused her to concentrate on athletic training. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree
in athletic training from James Madison University in 2005. In 2007, she graduated from Indiana University with a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology
with a specialization in athletic training. During her time at IU, Heather worked with the ballet majors, cheerleaders, and dance team as their athletic trainer.
Through her work in a physical therapy clinic she has gained much experience in using Pilates for rehabilitation and conditioning.
Jacqui Haas, A.T.C., teaches Pilates and injury prevention at Dance
Etc. on a regular basis. She is a former ballet dancer and trained at The
School of American Ballet, the Boston ballet and the Cleveland Ballet. As a
professional, she danced with the Southern Ballet Theater, Tampa Ballet, New
Orleans City Ballet, the Cincinnati Ballet and Ballet Artists Cincinnati. A
member of the faculty of the School of the Cincinnati Ballet, Haas earned her
bachelor's degree in dance form the University of South Florida' and her
Athletic Training Certification from UC. Jacqui cares for dancers and other
performers in all their health matters as director of Performing Arts Medicine
at Christ Hospital. Haas has extended her reach into the community as the
athletic trainer of the Cincinnati Ballet, the School of Creative and
Performing Arts in Cincinnati, the Arnoff Center for Performing Arts and the
University of Cincinnati (UC) dance department and as a frequent guest lecturer
at UC.
